Holiday Cards

Every year I have a holiday card making party.  This year has been my favorite because Stampin'Up! has some fabulous stamps and accessories this year.  Here are a few examples of some of the cards that we made.
This card has a fabric piece on the background and champagne glimmer paper to add some sparkle!
This has been my favorite stamp/framelit set of the year.  It is called Wonderous Wreath and it is a photopolymer stamp!
Every year I do one card that is a non-traditional color scheme for the holidays.  This one was inspired by the retro fresh washi tape.  Colors for this card are pool party, tangerine tango, and baked brown sugar.  I loved the look that was created by embossing over washi tape.  This layout was also inspired by the Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge PPA 228.  It is slightly different because I put element #3 under element #2 and all the way across the page, but I still like how it turned out.
This has been another favorite set of the year.  It is called Work of Art.  There are so many options and different ways this set can be used.  I saw this square stamp and thought of presents!

I am so excited for the holidays this year, and this has been a great start to the season.

It's been a while!

Well, it has been too long since I posted.  I have been so busy these past two years that I just haven't taken the time to post anything.  I want to start being more consistent on here so that I can document my creativity!  Over the past year I have been attempting some new mediums of creativity.  I have been doing wood project here and there because my husband likes to help me with these, and I enjoy his help!  Here is a picture of one of my favorites
The other media I have been attempting is canvas.  I made these two canvases for my son's room and I got so much feedback on them I though I would try some more.
Here are some of the others

I has been really fun and challenging to try some new projects.  But I still love to work with paper!
